An unannounced non-mandated inspection was conducted in response to a complaint received on 08/23/2022. The inspection was conducted on 09/07/2022 from 11:25am to 11:55am. 4 children (13pts) were present with 2 caregivers. Ratios and capacity were in compliance. Attendance records, child and caregiver records were reviewed. Posted documents were also reviewed. The complaint was determined to be valid. Based on review of documents and interview with the Provider, the Provider did not ensure the total number of children receiving care at any one time does not exceed the maximum licensed capacity of home. Evidence: On 08/25/2022 the provider had 6 children in care. The license allows for a capacity of 5.
Plan of Correction:
I took in a previous student, because I take care of their sibling, and the family had an emergency. I haven?t gone over the capacity in the past and I won?t do it again.
