Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm. There were two children in care being supervised by the provider. The children were observed waking up from nap, participating in story-time and structured center play. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of two child records, one provider record, and one household member records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on interviews and documentation review it was determined that emergency evacuation drills were not practiced monthly. Evidence: The most recent emergency evacuation drill was conducted 12/15/2021.

The provider will conduct emergency evacuation drills monthly.

Based on interviews and documentation review it was determined that shelter-in-place drills were not practiced at a minimum of twice per year. Evidence: There was no documentation of shelter-in-place drills conducted during the year of 2021.
