Provided consultation on standard:
1) 260C: for those buildings where asbestos containing materials are detected and not removed: a signed, written statement that the center is following the recommendations of the management plan shall be submitted to the department before subsequent licenses are issued
2) 290: In areas used by children of preschool age or younger, electrical outlets shall have protective covers that are of a size that cannot be swallowed by children
3) 510E: the center's procedures for administering medication shall include duration of the parent's authorization for medication, provided that it shall expire or be renewed after ten work days. Long term prescription drug use and over-the-counter medication may be allowed with written authorization form the child's physician and parent.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 9:30 - 11:30am. There were 28 children, ranging from seven months to five years of age, present with eight staff supervising. Children were observed playing in the gym, participating in circle time activities, completing an arts and crafts project and playing with age-appropriate table-top toys. Two staff records and two child records were reviewed along with the daily attendance record, emergency drill log, written list of food allergies, sensitivities and dietary restrictions, fire and health inspections, four medications and authorization forms and the required posted information.
