Discussed with provider that emergency medication kept on site may only be administered by authorized individuals. There is currently no staff at the family day home who is qualified to administer medication. They may remain on site, but they must be administer by first responders pending approved course completion by staff.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, and documentation review.
A renewal inspection was conducted on January 27, 2022. The provider was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 6 children present with 2 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records and 3 staff and household member records were reviewed.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
