A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 2/19/20 from 9:50 am until 2:15 pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of the inspection 117 children and 28 staff were present. The sample size consisted of ten children's records, ten staff's records, two children's medications and supporting documents, and four diaper ointments. Children and staff were observed during free indoor and outdoor play, educational and artistic activities, story time, cleaning, singing, lunch, nap, transitions and behavioral management. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
