An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 02/13/2020 from 9:25 A.M.-12:15 P.M. There were 15 children present with one staff and one administrator present. Five children records, three staff records, two board members records, first aid and emergency supplies, evacuation drills, one medication and required documentation, one injury report, injury prevention plan, playground safety plan, health inspection, fire inspection, and required posted information were reviewed. The center was celebrating Valentine's Day. The children were observed working in small groups with activities that included a literacy activity and letter sounds, fine motor skills beading a necklace,math activity of charting conversation hearts, journal writing, a science activity with conversation hearts, handwashing, a special Valentine snack, circle time, and playing in the post office that was created in the dramatic play area. There were no violations noted during the inspection.
