A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 11/30/2023 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A total of 94 children were present with 19 caregivers. The children were engaged in the following: painting crafts, playing and climbing through mesh tubes, participating in circle time, singing songs, practicing counting, listening to story time, completing a movement activity, learning about forest animals, and completing a counting activity with beads. Programming, menu, emergency procedures, 6 medications, and 9 children?s records and 9 staff records were reviewed.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
