Reminder that all staff records at the corporate office should contain staff's emergency contact information, job title, documentation of annual training, and a copy of staff's high school diploma or the equivalent or documentation of higher education.
Comments:
An announced monitoring inspection was conducted at the corporate office to review staff records. Three staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Seven area manager records were reviewed. There are three staff members on site who are CPR, First Aid, and MAT (medication administration training) certified. Based on review of seven area managers it was determined that not all staff records contained documentation of a central registry check within the first 30 days of employment. Evidence: Staff A (start date: 08/17/2015) did not have documentation of a central registry check on file.
Plan of Correction:
The area manager will obtain a copy of the central registry findings from the human resource department.
