Discussed installing mirrors in classroom to assist with supervision during diaper changing.
Recommended placing a baby gate in the infant room where the hallway leads to the door to the loading dock. This is not designated as a fire exit by the Fire Marshall.
Provided a copy of the Pre Service training for future training opportunities
Discussed developing a binder for staff training

An announced initial inspection was conducted from 9:00 am-11:30. The inspector met with the Center Director, Administrator and CFO of the program. There were no children in attendance. Five classrooms and the Stem Activity room were inspected and measured. They are requesting 100 children. A copy of the catering food certificate was obtained during this inspection. The children will use grassy areas for outside play that is located within 100 feet and 2 blocks from the child care center. The address of the child care was changed on the application form by the director this date. Records for administration were reviewed today. Administration was reminded that the license can not be issued until the central registry results are received. Please forward the results to the licensing inspector immediately. The Center Director will email the final health, fire inspection and certificate of occupancy as soon as received. There are no violations cited this date.
