Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on June 2, 2022 from 10:00 am through 11:00 a.m. Upon arrival, there were 77 children, ages 4 months through 5, in the care of 15 staff. Medication paperwork was reviewed for 1 child.
Areas observed were: handwashing/diapering procedures, outside play, infant feeding, transition and nap. The center is well equipped with a variety of age/stage materials for the children in care.

Based on observation, the center did not have two hazardous substances in a locked place that prevents access by children.
Evidence:
1. One Disinfectant Spray and one Clorox Wipe container were observed in an unlocked cabinet, over a sink, in classroom #3. 2. Staff confirmed the cabinet was not locked. No children were in the classroom at the time.
Plan of Correction:
All staff were given a memorandum and signed an acknowledgement that all hazardous substances must be in a locked cabinet to prevent access to children.
