Comments:
An unannounced initial inspection was completed on 10/08/2019. The inspection began at 12:10 PM and was concluded at 1:45 PM . There were no child in care on this day. The inspector looked at all rooms used for care, outdoor areas and equipment, bathrooms, required postings, emergency supplies and measurements of rooms used for care. There was discussion with the provider about: the licensing process and background checks. Violations were discussed at the close of the inspection.
Based on observation and review of the first aid kit contents, the center failed to ensure that first aid kits shall include at a minimum all elements as required by the standards.
Evidence:
1. The first aid instructional manual and adhesive tape were missing from the first aid kit. Staff verified that these items were missing.
