A self reported incident was received on 8/26/2022 regarding inappropriate behavioral guidance. The inspection was conducted on 9/1/2022. Staff were interviewed and a recording was viewed. The evidence gathered during the investigation confirmed non-compliance with standards or law, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on review of a video recording, the center failed to ensure striking a child was not used as a form of punishment. Evidence: On a video recording, Staff 1 stated "I spanked him through his pants and diaper. It didn't even hurt him."
