Technical Assistance:
Model forms for permission to wade, attendance and training logs can be found on the childcareva.com link. The link is https://www.doe.virginia.gov/cc/providers/index.html?pageID=11.

Please install a few nightlights in the sleeping areas as it was very dark when the children are napping.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted today. Ten children were present with three caregivers for twenty nine points which is within ratios for supervision. Observed physical space, infant care, transition to nap time and records. Emergency preparation is up to date. Consulted on training opportunities for obtaining training hours. Lunch served today was pasta with meatballs, carrots and milk. One child still on bottles only. If a child falls asleep in the swing they should be transferred over to a crib within 30 minutes. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Feel free to contact me if you need any assistance.
