Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted at 10:40am. Observed 3 children totaling 8 points with one caregiver. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Children were playing with toys, eating a snack, coloring and matching objects. Snack included oranges, bacon, and milk. The caregivers was actively engaged with the children and promptly tending to their needs. The daycare areas of the home were found to be clean and well supplied with toys and equipment for the children. An area of non-compliance with standards and laws reviewed was found. Based on records reviewed, the provider failed to ensure that 2 of 3 children's records did not include required information. Evidenc: The records for Child #10 and #11 did not include 1 of 2 required emergency contact persons information to include, name, address, and phone number.
Plan of Correction:
The provider said the parents told her that they do not have a second emergency contact person to list however, she will request the information again and document in the record.
