1. Discussed requirement to not allow children to eat or drink while lying down.
Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted at 12:40pm. Observed 2 children totaling 5 points with 1 caregiver. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. An adult household member was also present. Children were observed eating lunch, playing with toys and lying down for nap. The caregivers was actively supervising the children and promptly tending to their needs. The daycare areas of the home were found to be clean and well supplied with toys and equipment for the children. An area of non-compliance with standards and laws reviewed was found. Based on records reviewed, 1 of 4 household members did not have a TB screening every 2 years. Evidence: The most recent TB test for Adult #3 was dated as completed 9/24/21.
Plan of Correction:
The provider said she would tell Adult #3 that another TB test is needed.
