Because this was an initial inspection and there were no children in care, there were significant non-determined standards in all areas including, but not limited to, Administration, Staffing and Supervision, Programs, Special Care Provisions and Emergencies and Special Services. These standards will be reviewed at future monitoring inspections once the facility is operational.
The current license and most recent inspection reports are required to be posted in an area visible to the public.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
An initial inspection was initiated on 05/18/2020 and concluded on 05/19/2020. The Association Child Care Specialist was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were no children present as the program is not in operation. The inspector emailed the Association Child Care Specialist a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed five staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was completed.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the Association Child Care Specialist COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care Programs.
