Comments:
An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated and completed on July 18, 2024, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 11:11 AM and ended at 1:50 PM. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 19 children present and 4 staff. The inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 10 staff records on site. This inspection included . ?document review (i.e. Injury logs, policies and procedures, emergency drill logs, medication administration logs, authorization forms), ?tour of the facility, ?interviews, and ?observations
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected.
Submit your POC within five (5) business days from July 19, 2024, which will be the close of business on July 25, 2024. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.
Based upon review of staff records, the facility has not ensured that a search of the child abuse and neglect registry is obtained from any state in which the staff person has resided in the past five years. Evidence: The record provided for staff 4 indicated that staff 4 resided in South Carolina within the past five years. Results of a central registry search from South Carolina have not been received.

Description:
Based upon review of staff records, the facility has not ensured that staff complete orientation training no later than seven days of the date of assuming job responsibilities. Evidence: The records provided for staff 4 and staff 7 indicated a hire dates of 6/13/2024. There was no documentation that either staff 4 or staff 7 received the required orientation training.
