8VAC20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes
Comments:
A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted on September 28, 2023 from approximately 11:25 am to 12:30 pm. There was one child present with one caregiver supervising. A monitoring inspection was also conducted on this date. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on observation and interview, vendor did not ensure there is a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.
Evidence: One child was present during inspection. Vendor stated she did not have documentation of attendance.

Attendance will be documented each day.

Evidence: There was not documentation of completed shelter-in-place drills. Vendor stated she has discussed them but drills have not been done.
