Technical Assistance:
The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) assumed oversight of child care licensing and monitoring on July 1, 2021. All associated regulations and codes have transferred over from the Virginia Department of Social Services.

Comments:
An unannounced renewal study was conducted. No children were in care at the time of the inspection. Preschool and school-age children are currently enrolled.
Reviewed 2 children's records, training requirements for the provider, physical space, nutrition and emergency preparation. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard #: 8VAC20-800-280
Description: Based on observation, a potentially poisonous substance was accessible to children.
Evidence;
A bottle of nail polish remover was in the bathroom cabinet in the hall bathroom that the children use.

Plan of Correction: The bottle of polish remover was moved during the inspection.
