The Director should reach out to the Licensing Inspector and provide evidence that the (currently) closed classrooms are adequately supplied prior to opening them.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
An announced Initial inspection was initiated and concluded on 8/13/2020. The Director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection at 10:00am. There were no children present and 1 staff. The inspector emailed the Director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed children's record and 2 staff records submitted by the Director to ensure documentation was complete. There was an adequate amount of age appropriate materials and supplies for the two classrooms (Infant room and Primary room) that will open first. Additional materials, supplies, and furniture will be placed in the closed rooms, prior to their opening, as enrollment increases.
Information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
