Technical assistance was offered regrading children's records and nap time for infants.
Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A renewal inspection was initiated and concluded on 2/4/21. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There was 1 child (4 points) and 1 caregiver present. The inspector reviewed documents and physical space virtually required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 1 child?s records and 1 caregiver's record virtually to ensure documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility. The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs. Based on record review, the provider did not maintain a complete record for children in care. Evidence: 1. Child # 1's record was missing information for two emergency contacts, medical insurance policy number and parent's work information.
