Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternative remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. An on-site inspection of the home was not conducted at this time however, a portion of the inspection included a virtual component which allowed the inspector to observe the daycare areas of the home.
An initial licensing inspection was scheduled and completed on 9/15/20, The provider was contacted by phone to initiate the inspection. There were no children present today. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection, and from that information submitted by the provider, the inspector reviewed 1 child's record, and the provider's training record. Records for household members were reviewed as part of the initial application. Information gathered during the inspection determined one area of non-compliance with applicable standards or laws, which has been documented on the violation notice issued to the provider. Questions about this inspection may be directed to pamela.sneed@dss.virginia.gov
Based on records reviewed, it was determined that there was no documentation of a physical exam for 1 of 1 children. Evidence: There was no documentation of a physical exam for Child #3.
Plan of Correction:
A copy of the most recent physical exam will be put in the child's record.
