8VAC20-790 Subsidy Regulations.
Comments:
A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated on 3/14/2023 and concluded on 3/14/2023. There were 35 children present with 10 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on a review of staff training, staff have not annually taken the department health and safety update course. Evidence: The following staff have not taken the department's health and safety update training; Staff #1no record of previous 3 hour training, staff #2 no record of previous 3 hour training and staff #3 last 3 hour training 8/2021
Plan of Correction:
Staff will take 3 hour annual training and maintain certificate in the staff's record.
