Comments:
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 5/8/2024 and concluded on 5/8/2024. There were 19 children present with five staff supervising, owner (PD), administrative staff, cook/floater present. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records and three staff records were reviewed. The inspection started at 9:07 am and concluded at 10:35 am.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on record reviews, the center failed to ensure all the required information was in the child's records. Evidence: Child #4 does not have two designated people to call in an emergency if a parent/guardian cannot be reached.

Based on record reviews the center failed to ensure that all staff have a current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) as appropriate to the age of the children in care from an organization such as the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, American Safety and Health Institute, or National Safety Council. The training shall include an in-person competency demonstration. Evidence: Staff #2, has a CPR certificate that expired April, 2024. Staff #3, has a CPR certificate that expired May, 2023.
