A complaint inspection was initiated on 4/5/23 and concluded on 4/13/23. The inspector reviewed compliance in the area shown above.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on interviews the center failed to ensure that behavior guidance is constructive and intended to redirect children.
Evidence: Staff #1 admitted to yelling numerous times at child #1 while trying to talk to the child about his actions. Staff #2, #3, child #1, and video also verified this.
Plan of Correction:
The staff member was immediately brought into the administrators office at the center once the allegation was reported to the center. The staff member was immediately placed on leave and has since been terminated for yelling at the child and other non-procedural actions.
