Technical Assistance:
Discussed procedures for when children outside and have access to the stairs, crib railings to follow only manufacture requirements and staff records.
Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on April 21, 2022 from approximately 9:10 am to 10:25am. Provider was present with 6 children ( 16 points). Children were observed freely playing and singing. Two children records and 1 caregiver and 1 volunteer records were reviewed on this date. Licensing Inspector reviewed supervision, activities, equipment, diapering ,nutrition, children and caregiver records, emergency evacuation and shelter-in-place drill documentation, emergency supplies and required postings.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on record review and staff interview, the licensee did not ensure there was documentaiton completed at least annually when emergency plan was updated or reviewed..
Evidence: Staff#2 was unable to provide written documentaiton the emergency plan was updated and reviewed annually.

Based on record review and staff interview, the licensee did not ensure there was documentation of completed orientation by the end of first week the staff assumed job responsibilities.
Evidence: The record for staff #1 did not have documentaiton of completed orietation. Staff #2 confimred there was not documentation of orientaiton in staff #1 record.
