63.2 Child Abuse & Neglect
Comments:
An unannounced enforcement watch inspection due to Probation status was conducted on January 17, 2024, from 9:30am-11:45am. At the time of entrance, (92) children were in care with (23 ) staff members present. Observation and physical plant inspections of 12 classroom were completed. The inspector reviewed 1 new and 1 former staff records. Areas of non-compliance are identified on the violation notice.

Based on a review of staff records, 1 staff has not completed the required Virginia Department of Education orientation course within 90 calendar days of employment. Evidence: Staff #1, date of employment 9/20/2023 has not completed the required Department Of education orientation course within 90 calendar days of employment.
Plan of Correction:
Staff will complete the training and maintain the certificate in the training record.
