Comments:
A renewal inspection was conducted on 8/17/2022. 4 children (7pts) were in attendance with the Provider. The physical space, children?s records, Provider/household member documents, posted documents, evacuation drills, attendance records and training certificates were reviewed. No medications were on site. Children were observed interacting with the Provider and preparing to go the playground. The crib and changing table were inspected and age appropriate materials were available for the children. The caregivers exceeded requirements for annual trainings. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the Violation Notice issued to the program. Based on record review and interview with the Provider, emergency evacuation procedure drills were not practiced monthly. Evidence: The records documented drills every other month and the Provider confirmed they were being practiced every other month.
Plan of Correction:
I will start practicing the evacuation drills (fire drills) every month.
