Comments:
A monitoring inspection was conducted on March 1, 2023. There were 11 children present, with 2 caregivers supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 3 caregiver records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on review of children's records, the family day home did not obtain documentation of additional immunizations every six months for a child under the age of two. Evidence Child #1 who has been in care since 8/29/22, and under the age of two (dob 7/21) does not have documentation of additional immunizations every six months, last documentation is dated 8/15/22.
Plan of Correction:
We will get documentation of the updated immunization record and make sure we keep track and get the updated immunizations every six months for all children under the age of two.

Description:
Based on discussion with caregiver, the diapering surface is not being cleaned and sanitized after each diaper change. Evidence Caregiver #1 stated they are spraying the diapering surface with bleach and water after each diaper change. Licensing standards the diapering surface should be sprayed or dipped with a solution of soap and water and patted dry to clean the surface. Then sprayed or dipped with a solution of bleach and water and allow to air dry to sanitize.
Plan of Correction:
WE will begin immediately using both soap and water and bleach and water after each diaper change.
