Provided consultation on standard:
1) 690D: the diapering surface shall be nonabsorbent. Ensure that the diapering pad is monitored and discard if there are any rips or tears, as this makes the pad absorbent; the diapering surface shall be cleaned and sanitized after each use. (sanitized means treated in such a way as to remove bacteria and viruses from inanimate surfaces through first cleaning and secondly using a solution of bleach water which is sprayed on and then allowed to air dry.)
2) 690E: soiled disposable diapers and wipes shall be disposed of in such a way that that neither the caregiver's hand nor the soiled diaper or wipe touches the exterior surface of the storage system during disposal.
Keep an eye on the freezer temperature to ensure that it stays below 0 degrees.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 11:30 - 12:45am with the provider and her assistant. There were 11 children in care, ranging from 14 months to four years of age, for a total of 29 points. Children were observed having free play with age-appropriate toys, washing hands, eating lunch and preparing for nap. Lunch served today: chicken sandwich on whole wheat bun, green beans, pears and milk. Four child records, two caregiver records, the emergency drill log, daily attendance, menu and required posted information were reviewed. The provider is not certified in Medication Administration Training (MAT) and can not administer medication to children in care.
