Description:
Based on review of children's records, the center failed to ensure that for each child with a diagnosed food allergy, there was a written care plan with instructions from the physician regarding the food to which the child is allergic and the steps to be taken in the event of a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction. Evidence: Child #2's file indicates an allergy to shellfish and hazelnut but there is no allergy care plan in the file.
