This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
An announced initial inspection was initiated and concluded on 6/3/2021. The Owner was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection at 3:30pm. There were no children present and 2 staff members. The inspector emailed the Director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed 1 child's record and 1 staff record submitted by the Director to ensure documentation was complete. The camp was not set up with materials yet, due to another program utilizing the facility at this time. A list of age appropriate materials that will be used for children that will be in the camp was given to the inspector. All materials and supplies will be placed in the classrooms being used prior to opening the camp.
Information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
