Based on record review and provider statement, a person of 14 years of age and older residing at the family day home did not have a search of the central registry available within 30 days of the person becoming 14 years old.
Evidence: Household Member #3 (DOB: December 2009) was missing documentation of a search of the central registry in the records.

We started the process of search of the Central Registry.

Based on observation, the first aid kit did not contain the minimum required emergency supplies.
Evidence: The first aid kit was missing the below listed required items: 1) First aid instructional manual 2) More than 1 triangular bandages

1. First Aid instructional manual was printed and placed in the 1st aid area. 2. The second triangular band. has been purchased.

Description:
Based on record review, the provider did not practice monthly with all caregivers and children in care during all shifts that children are in care.
Evidence: Drill record did not have any documentation of a fire drill completed for the month of December 2023.
Plan of Correction:
We will more carefully maintain the records updates from a year ago.
