An unannounced health and safety inspection was conducted on, June 16, 2022 to determine compliance with the supplemental health and safety requirements. The inspector arrived at 9:17 AM and concluded the inspection at 11:02 AM. There were a total of 11 children being supervised by the provider and 3 assistants. Upon the inspector?s arrival the children were playing inside with various play materials. The children were later observed by the licensing inspector in another designated area in the home, interacting with peers singing and dancing. The outdoor play area, inside play areas, restroom, and kitchen area were inspected. Five children's records, three staff records, fire drill and shelter in place drill logs, first aid kit, liability insurance, staff training and all required postings were reviewed. The provider was available for the inspection and was present at the exit interview at which time inspection findings were reviewed and an Acknowledgement of Inspection form was signed and left with the licensee.
A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. There were no violations found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection.
