Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 11:40am-1: 45pm. There were 40 children (infants-5yrs.) directly supervised by 8 staff. The physical plant, 4 staff records, 4 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, reading books, playing outside, and eating lunch. Diapering and hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was a supply of materials for the children. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid, as well as DHO training. Staff-to-child ratios were in compliance. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Based on a review of records, 3 staff records did not contain the results of a completed Central Registry Search within 30 days of employment. Evidence: Staff B- record contained the results of a completed Central Registry Search for a different business entity, not for this facility. Staff C- record did not contain completed results within 30 days of hire ( date of hire 10/2/2023) Staff D-record contained the results of a completed Central Registry Search for a different business entity, not for this facility.
