Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.

An announced initial inspection was conducted today from 12:30pm to 2:00pm and no children were present. The family day home's programming space, policies, supplies, and equipment were inspected. The provider and assistant are current in CPR and First Aid training. The home was found to be clean and organized with adequate space for the requested capacity of 12 children. The programming space was supplied with an abundance of age appropriate materials. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.

Please complete the columns for "Plan of Correction" and "Date to be Corrected" for each violation cited on the Violation Notice, and then return a signed and dated copy to the licensing office by 4:00pm on Friday 5/28/2021. Please email me at morgan.bryson1@dss.virginia.gov with any questions.
