Technical Assistance:
Discussion about the upcoming CCS Renewal Application that will be submitted to the Office of Child Care Health and Safety (Fairfax). Please include the following: Staff Information Sheet; Background Checks (Fingerprint Check, CPS Check, Sworn Statement, and all applicable Out-of-State background checks) for all new board officers; to include Staff #5 (listed as contact); Inspection reports from the County Fire Marshal's Office; and a Report of Environmental Sanitation Inspection completed by the Health Department.
Comments:
This renewal inspection was initiated by licensing staff and concluded on 07/26/2023, between the hours of 10:15 am to 12 pm. There were 149 children present, ranging from preschool-age about to enter kindergarten to school-age, with 31 staff and 10 specialist supervising 15 separate groups. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration; physical plant; staffing and supervision; programming; medication; special care and emergencies; and nutrition. A total of 10 children records, 6 board officer records, and 5 staff records were reviewed.
The information gathered during the inspection determined that there was not a violation to an applicable standard, code, and/or law. Therefore, a Violation Notice was not issued.
