Technical Assistance:
A NMI was conducted today for the modification of the center license to reflect the lower age range to: 3 months through 6 years, 11 months. In addition, the center will also change their hours of operation to: 7:30 am to 6 pm; Monday through Friday.

The center will be currently using the following rooms:
Room 109 - Preschool age (cap - 12) (This room is currently part of existing program)
Room 108 - Toddler age (cap - 9) (This age will be part of the modification)
Room 107 - Infant age (cap - 8) (This age will also be part of the modification)

The center will start with the following equipment in rooms 108 & 107:
4 high chairs, 4 cribs, 2 changing tables, 2 mini fridges, 1 bottle warmer, 2 exo-saucers, floor mats, age appropriate toys, 2 foot operated trash cans, and rocking chairs for staff to use while providing care. Both room 108 and 107 have their own private bathrooms with one toilet and one sink each.

Additional supplies are on order and will arrive for the three rooms in use later this week. The remaining rooms within the center will remain closed until growth dictates their need to be open. The auditorium will continue to be used by the children for special events.

Comments:
This monitoring inspection was initiated by licensing staff and concluded on 09/07/2022, between the hours of 1 pm to 2 pm. This Non Mandated Inspection was to assess the equipment and physical plant of the center in order to accommodate a modification to the CDC license to change their age range to: 3 months through 6 years, 11 months. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of physical plant; programming; special care and emergencies; and the current use of the building.

The information gathered during the inspection determined that there was not a violation to an applicable standard, code, and/or law. Therefore, a Violation Notice was not issued.
