Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
An initial inspection was initiated on May 26, 2021 and concluded on June 1, 2021. The provider was contacted by video call to initiate the inspection. There were 0 children present and 1 staff. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 1 child?s records and 1 staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
Based on a review of documentation, not all of the children's records contained the required documentation. Evidence: Child A's record did not contain documentation of health examination and up-to-date immunization records.
Plan of Correction:
The provider stated that she will request the missing documentation from the parent and add it to the child's record upon receipt.
