This initial subsidy inspection was conducted by the inspector using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency declared by the Governor of Virginia in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Preliminary data was obtained from the vendor on June 10, 2021. The subsidy inspection was initiated on June 11, 2021, at which time the vendor was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection, and concluded on June 14, 2021. The inspector emailed the vendor a list of items required to complete the inspection. The vendor reported there were no children in care at this time. The inspector reviewed one staff record submitted by the vendor to ensure compliance with the health and safety regulations. The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs. The information gathered during the inspection determined no areas of non-compliance with applicable regulations or law, and no violations were issued.
