Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews (if applicable) and a virtual tour of the program (if applicable).
A monitoring inspection was initiated on July 19, 2021 and concluded on July 20, 2021. The director was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 156 children present, ranging in ages from 5 to 12, with 23 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on review of five children's records, one did not contain the required documentation. Evidence The record for child number one does not contain an immunization record..
Plan of Correction:
Going forward we will ensure all immunization records are received before a child's first day.

Description:
Based on review of medication procedures, medications are not being stored in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children. Evidence Medications are being kept in unlocked fanny packs that are worn by staff members.

We will ensure all medication is locked up.
