Comments:
The inspector conducted an unannounced renewal inspection on Thursday, December 1, 2022 to determine the center's compliance with licensing standards. The inspection begin at 4:50 PM and concluded at 6:30 PM. There were no children in care during the inspection. The center director was available throughout the inspection. The inspector observed 2 classrooms, inside activity area, kitchen, and restrooms. The center's first aid kit and non-medical emergency supplies were inspected and found complete. Medication is being administered at this time. The required postings and liability insurance were inspected and found to be in compliance. There were three children's records, three records, and four board member?s records reviewed. There were violations cited during this inspection. Based on a review of staff records, the center failed to obtain a tuberculosis examination for staff on or within seven days prior to the first day of employment. Evidence: 1. Staff # 1?s tuberculosis screening was completed 6/27/2022. 2. Staff # 2?s date of hire was 9/27/2022.
