Comments:
A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated on January 25, 2024 and concluded on January 31, 2024. There were 26 children present with 4 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Please contact the Licensing Inspector, Christine Mahan (757) 404-0568 with any questions
Based record review and staff interviews, the vendor did not ensure staff completed who work directly with children shall have completed the departments health and safety update course.
Evidence: The record for Staff #4 did not include the required annual 3 hour health and safety update course for 2023.

Senior program manger are following up with employee to ensure training is completed
