Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was started in the center on September 26, 2023 from 3:20 pm until 4:25 pm and concluded on September 27, 023. At the time of entrance, 52 children were in care with 4 staff members present. The sample size consisted of 5 children?s records and 5 staff records. Children were observed during preparing for an eating snack and playing large group gym games.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Description:
Based on documentation review and staff interviews, the licensee did not ensure that for each group of children, the center shall maintain a written record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs. Evidence: The attendance sheet for children observed in the cafeteria was not accurate as it listed only 12 children and 14 children were observed. Staff #1 verified 2 children were assigned to a different group and the attendance sheet had not been updated.
