A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated on April 20, 2023 from approximately 9:30 AM to 1:35 PM. There were 83 children present with 20 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on record review, two center staff did not have current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the ages of children in care.
Evidence: 1. Staff #8 (employed: 11/21/22) did not have current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). 2. Staff #9 (employed: 12/03/21 ) did not have current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
