Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program. An initial inspection was conducted on 11/22/2021. The Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-770
Description: Based on observation the licensee did not ensure the home had a weather band radio.
Evidence:
The licensee had a radio that was not weather band.

Plan of Correction: The following corrective action was given by the licensee during the exit interview:
The licensee will obtain a weather band radio that operates with batteries to add to the emergency supplies.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-330-A
Description: Based on observation the licensee did not ensure there was a landline telephone, excluding a cordless or cell.
Evidence:
The licensee had a landline, however the phone was cordless.

Plan of Correction: The following corrective action was given by the licensee during the exit interview:
The licensee thinks she has a non cordless phone in the house. If she is unable to locate a new one will be purchased for the daycare.
