Comments:
A monitoring inspection was conducted on 10/25/2023. 42 children were directly supervised by 8 staff. The physical space, 3 children's records, 3 staff records, posted documents, the Emergency Preparedness Plan and other required documents were reviewed. No medications were on site. Children were observed during story time, coming in from outside, interacting with each other and engaging with the staff. Age appropriate materials were available in all classrooms.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the Violation Notice issued to the program. For questions regarding this inspection, please contact Stephanie.salvatori@doe.virginia.gov
Based on record review, viewing proof of the child's identity and age was missing for 1 out of 3 children's records. Evidence: The documentation, showing the date and name of who viewed the original birth certificate for Child A, was left blank.
