Comments:
A renewal inspection was conducted on 4/24/2024. 38 children were directly supervised by 11 staff. The physical space, 4 children's records, 3 staff records, attendance, evacuation drills and required posted documents were reviewed. No medications were on site. Children were observed playing outside, washing hands, engaging in age-appropriate activities, interacting with each other and interacting with the staff. Interactions were positive. Developmentally appropriate materials were available in all classrooms. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the Violation Notice issued to the program. Based on record review, 1 out of 3 staff members did not have documentation to demonstrate the individual possessed the education required for the job position. Evidence: Staff A did not have a diploma or certification in their staff file.

The diploma will be obtained from the staff member and placed in their file.

Description:
Based on observation, electrical outlets were not all covered by protective covers. Evidence: Two out of three classrooms, and 1 bathroom, did not have protective covers over all electrical outlets in the space.
Plan of Correction:
Electrical outlets were covered during the inspection and teachers will be reminded to always check to make sure outlets are covered.

Description:
Based on observation, a nonabsorbent surface was not available for diapering or changing. Evidence: The changing pad to be used for diapering had a hole which prevented it from being nonabsorbent.
Plan of Correction:
A new changing pad was purchased online during the inspection.
