The center will send background checks and staff health forms for new staff before the opening of the facility and caring for children.
Comments:
An announced initial inspection was completed on November 16, 2021. The Licensing Inspector met with the Deborah Barksdale and Deborah Mills to complete the inspection. There were no children present during the inspection. Observation of all two classrooms and fellowship room was conducted. Classrooms were found well maintained, provided ample equipment, art supplies and books, all within reach of the children in care.

Based on staff interview, the center did not have criminal history record check prior to 1st day of employment. Evidence: Staff #2 did not have signed sworn disclosure statement prior to 1st day of employment and central registry check available for review during the inspection.
