Technical Assistance:
Discussion of the possible need of a child proof lock for the kitchen door when the chef is not present. Further discussion included the storage of cleaning supplies, food preparation with regards to the allergy list, and temperature for freezer.

Discussion of shoes that are taken off for nap time. While this practice is in compliance, the concern is what to do if an emergency should arise and time is of the essence. The center had in place a procedure to address this concern.

Discussion of the placement of cots during nap. Continue to ensure that there is 1 foot of space between each cot (on all sides). All cribs (14) meet current federal guidelines. Please continue to place cribs away from near by cords, and 1 foot apart when occupied.

Discussion of the new code for carbon monoxide detectors for facilities built prior to 2015. Further clarification shall be obtained in order to understand the relevancy of this requirement for this specific facility. The center's building was constructed in 2018.
